French-Canadian label LES INCOMPÉTENTS has unveiled its lookbook for the forthcoming SS17 season, snapped by Toronto photographer Jacqueline Ashton. The brand wanted to rethink the concept of uniforms, so they flipped classic white shirts and workwear pieces — workers’ staples, basically — and made them modern thanks to minimal detailing and high-end fabrics.

There’s two-tone zipped overshirts, polos with invisible zips and matching floral two-pieces (maybe your uniform if you’re a really stylish gardener?). Fabrics-wise, LES INCOMPÉTENTS opts for technical cloths like memory nylon and neoprene, which nod to sportswear (which is an athlete’s uniform, when you think about it).

Stay tuned for the collection when it hits the LES INCOMPÉTENTS web store next year.

For more new fashion, check out every piece that’s due to drop next month from Gosha Rubchinskiy SS17.
