There’s no denying the phenomenal year Chance the Rapper has been having, especially after recently being nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys. To cap off the MVP year he’s been having, Chance stopped by Saturday Night Live appearing as the musical guest.

Wearing his trademark overalls and ‘3’ cap, it was Chance’s second appearance on the show since he made his debut one year ago. The rapper performed ”Same Drugs” with Francis and the Lights as well as ”Finish Line” with fellow Chicago MC Noname.

Not only did Chance perform on stage but also appeared in a parody of Run-D.M.C.’s ”Christmas in Hollis” alongside Kenan Thompson. Dressed as the iconic rap group, the pair rapped about President Obama’s last Christmas in the White House.

The critically acclaimed third mixtape, Coloring Book, has been regarded one of the best full-length projects of the year also earning Chance seven Grammy nominations.
