Yesterday, news broke that Anderson .Paak has been working with electronic music-wizard Flying Lotus, and that the duo would soon be unleashing the results of this epic collaboration, despite the fact that us mere mortals "ain't ready." But that's not all the immensely talented musician has been up to. Paak has just announced that he and his backing band, The Free Nationals, are set to drop their debut album very, very soon.
Other details surrounding the project, even its title, remain scarce, but it's the latest evidence that 2017 is going to be a big year for the band. Recently, they were announced as the supporting act for Bruno Mars on his upcoming European tour, and it is but the latest project from Paak, who released both a solo album, Malibu, and an album with producer Knxwledge, Yes Lawd!, to high praise last year. Stay tuned for further details on the upcoming LP.
