Among the many, many performers who appeared at Weekend One of Coachella was Lana Del Rey, who was on hand to play a selection of songs from her upcoming fifth studio album Lust for Life. But it seems she got pretty inspired by her festival stop, as in the literal hours since her set finished she has polished off a brand new song. Listen to a preview of the track below.

Written on her way home from Coachella, Lana shared the teaser on her Instagram along with the weighty context behind it. “I’m not gonna lie- I had complex feelings about spending the weekend dancing whilst watching tensions w North Korea mount” she writes, before adding that the song was composed in the following way: “On my way home I found myself compelled to visit an old favorite place of mine at the rim of the world highway where I took a moment to sit down by the sequoia grove and write a little song.”

Lana Del Rey’s Lust for Life is rumored to be out on May 26 via Interscope. Watch the music video for lead single “Love” below.

In other music news, Lorde debuted three tracks from her eagerly-anticipated album ‘Melodrama’ at Coachella over the weekend. Watch them all right here.
