Well who’d have expected this. Liam Payne has linked up with Migos’s head honcho Quavo on a track which sounds exactly like the sort of low-slung, West Coast instrumentals that YG usually raps over. “Strip That Down” has an undeniably solid formula: it’s written by Ed Sheeran, has a surprisingly cool beat and features Payne’s silky vocals. One thing’s for sure – you’re going to be hearing a lot more of this during the summer. Listen below.
