L.A.’s DJDS dropped a brand new track called “Why Don’t You Come On.” On vocals, the duo recruited Empress Of and Khalid, who just took home the award for Best New Artist at Sunday’s MTV VMAs.

The uplifting new song premiered yesterday on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show and is DJDS’ second track of the summer, following “Trees on Fire” featuring Amber Mark & Marco McKinnis. Listen to “Why Don’t You Come On” below.

This isn’t the first time the producers have linked up with Khalid; DJDS produced the Texas singer’s track “Another Sad Love Song” on the his debut album American Teen, which peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200. They’ve also collaborated with Kanye West, most recently on the soundtrack to his Yeezy Season 5 runway show back in February, and contributed production on 2016’s The Life of Pablo.
