At this year’s Dubai Auto Show, Chevrolet unveiled the latest remodel of the 2019 Corvette ZR1 and it’s incredible. This car follows on from the seventh generation 2014 Corvette C7, with the ZR1 now in its fourth generation. Despite little information announced by GM, here’s what we do know about the 2019 ZR1.
Pumping out an impressive 755 HP, 715 lb-ft of torque backed by a supercharged, small block 6.2-liter V8, the ZR1 is easily the most powerful Corvette yet. The remodel also features Brembo ceramic brakes, a racer-style underwing for streamlined speed and a carbon fiber rear insert on the newly implemented shaker hood which covers the engine beneath. Check out the video below for a quick tour.
The front end of the car underwent some serious rework after customers complained of overheating in the Z06 model. To rectify that, the car has been fitted with 13 heat exchangers and an additional set of radiators to ensure cooler performance.
In regards to matching performance and style, the ZR1 is the complete package. With a claimed top speed of 210 mph and the choice between black or Serbing Orange bodywork, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is not for the fainthearted.
