After getting a look at Nike's thematic collection, adidas shares imagery of two silhouettes from its upcoming Chinese New Year drop. Showcased are the Yung 96 and the Superstar, each done up in red and white colorways, with the red signifying luck and happiness in Chinese culture.
The sneakers also feature gold detailing, in addition to an embroidered dragon head at the heels, representative of traditional lion dance costumes. While the Superstar opts for a predominantly white and red color combo, the Yung 96 then welcomes pops of neon yellow.
adidas has yet to disclose release information for its Chinese New Year collection, but as always, check back with us for more.
