Editor’s Notes: After both the OAMC x adidas Originals Type 01 and Type 03 were unveiled at Paris Fashion Week FW19, AnOther Magazine has exclusively announced the release of both styles via an editorial featuring Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes. Retailer END. Clothing re-shared one of the images of the Type 01 sneaker on its Instagram page, announcing that it would be stocking the style in September. The other two styles will be rolled out throughout October and November according to adidas.

OAMC was founded in 2013 by Supreme and Carhartt WIP veterans Arnaud Faeh and Luke Meier, with Meier having been Supreme’s head designer. This is the first time that OAMC and adidas have teamed up, with the brand being given free reign to create all-new silhouettes for the Brand With the Three Stripes.

OAMC creative director Luke Meier explained the inspiration behind the collection. “I was looking at some of the early 90s references from when I lived there for this collection, and some of the fabrics, shapes, and motifs helped to create a Pacific Northwest mood,” he says.
