Editor’s Notes: adidas is celebrating the Boston Red Sox’s World Series win with new Made For Baseball (AM4BSBL) running shoes, created at the brand’s SPEEDFACTORY in Atlanta. The sneaker pulls inspiration from adidas’s “Splash Pack” baseball cleats, designed to mimic postgame celebrations where players drench their coaches with water/Gatorade after a big win.
The AM4BSBL is highlighted by a fit-programmed upper, which increases midfoot and heel lockdown, and enables speed, agility, and confidence. The sole has been digitally bonded to the upper, eliminating the need for glue, while the NFC-enabled tongue patch allows you to unlock an exclusive digital experience.
adidas’s AM4BSBL is slated to land on adidas.com in limited numbers, retailing for $200.
