Editor’s Notes: After adidas and YEEZY SUPPLY surprise-dropped the sneaker on May 22, the German sportswear giant has confirmed the wider release of the adidas YEEZY Boost 350 V2 “Glow” will follow today, May 25. The sneaker will drop in full family size (adult, kids, and infants).
Kanye West had previously vowed to release a pair of glow-in-the-dark adidas Originals YEEZY Boost 350 V2s. In August 2018, he tweeted that he “can’t wait for these glow in the dark 350s.” That tweet has since been deleted.
This isn’t be the first time a glow-in-the-dark effect has been used on a pair of YEEZYs. In 2016, the YEEZY 750 “Grey/Gum” came with a gum outsole that glowed in the dark when exposed to light for an extended period of time.
