Each Adventure Time: Distant Lands special will focus on a different character or set of characters, with the final installment reuniting Finn the human and Jake the dog.
Cartoon Network Studios, who produced the original series, is responsible for HBO Max’s Adventure Time catalog. Beginning in 2010, the show, which centered around 12-year-old Finn and his magical dog, Jake, aired for nine seasons on Cartoon Network before calling it quits in 2018.
