London Gallery BASTIAN just opened an exhibition focusing on Andy Warhol's intimate polaroids. The show includes over 60 portraits and self-portraits taken by Warhol, some of which are previously unseen.

The images capture a variety of stars including Jean-Michel Basquiat, David Hockney, Yves Saint Laurent, famed performance artist Joseph Beuys, and John Lennon.

Warhol was best-known for his Pop Art screenprints and experimental video art, but his Polaroids became an integral part of his work from the 1970s until his death in 1987, foreshadowing our current image-obsessed culture.

Andy Warhol Polaroid Pictures is on now and runs until April 13.
