Online boutique and fashion archive Arbitrage NYC offers a curated selection of designer clothing to buy and rent, and while the brand has built collections highlighting archival Helmut Lang, Maison Martin Margiela and Rick Owens pieces in the past, the imprint will now be releasing their seventh and final archive capsule, this time featuring Dolce & Gabbana.
Featuring over 40 pieces from past collections ranging from FW 1999 to SS 2008, majority of the pieces will be from Dolce & Gabbana’s iconic FW 2003 collection, which drew heavily from military and futuristic inspirations, as well as techno and punk subcultures. During that time, bondage and S&M-inspired design was already trending in menswear, Dolce & Gabbana further exaggerated the style by infusing their trademark hyper-masculinity and military themes.
With standout pieces including the 2003 nylon bondage bomber, 2003 reconstructed military trousers and the 2007 mesh bomber, this will be Arbitrage NYC's last shoppable collection for the foreseeable future, however, the brand will be shifting its focus to curating a varied selection of archive designer and vintage designs available to rent and sharing this extensive archive on their Instagram and official website.
Shop the entire collection starting this Friday, February 23 at 12 p.m. EST on Arbitrage NYC and Grailed.
