Highsnobiety

On this episode of The Dropcast, hosts Noah Thomas and Jian DeLeon are joined by A$AP Twelvyy. He talks about some of his upcoming musical projects and a few of the new influences he hopes to bring to the table.

We also talk about his brand, LAST YEAR BEING BROKE, which just released some dope new footwear—the VERSEONE slides with interchangeable straps. Twelvyy and Noah bond over their shared hobby of being “slide connoisseurs” or whatever, but then we get in-depth on one of the best Japanese labels in the game, Kapital. Twelvyy talks about some of his favorite pieces, and Noah confesses that Twelvyy actually put him on.

In addition to the news of the week—from the CFDA Awards to the latest Palace x adidas collab—we also have a strong debate over whether JJJJOUND x APC is the most minimal collaboration since white bread met unsalted skim milk butter. Also not to miss are Twelvyy’s thrift shopping tips!

We also asked listeners to call into the Dropcast Hotline at 833-HIGHSNOB (833-444-4766) to answer the Question of the Week. This week’s QOTW had us asking you: “What would your A$AP Mob name be?”

Twelvyy hears a few and decides whether or not they’d make the cut. And as always, feel free to call the hotline for a chance to end up in the next episode. See you next week and please subscribe. We have things we want to buy and it helps.
