Banksy announced he will be raffling a giant sculpture of a boat that featured in his Dismaland theme park, in aid of refugee support services.

Taking to Instagram, the artist wrote, “You can win it for £2 if you correctly guess how much it weighs.” The winner simply needs to pay the fee and guess the correct weight of the coin-operated boat, which comes with a remote control as part of the display. You can guess online until 8pm GMT, December 22. Choose Love is the world’s first store where you can buy real gifts for refugees, including practical items like tents, diapers and sleeping bags. Not only is this a good way to give to people in need, it's also a pretty shrewd art investment. Banksy's Girl With Balloon painting, which sold at auction for $1.4 million in October, is probably worth double that today.

Is Banksy's latest move in poor taste? Let us know in the comments below.

In more art news, Snarkitecture will open ‘Snark Park’ in New York’s Hudson Yards in March 2019.
