Welcome to Face Value, Highsnobiety’s monthly guide to the best new beauty products and the brands behind them.

Amid the pomp and circumstance of Fashion Month, it was easy to overlook September's steady stream of beauty newness. In between flashy runway shows and afterparties, beauty brands quietly launched at-home skincare tech and fall-ready fragrances.

From Hermès' Tutti Twilly, an unapologetically fruity perfume, to Therabody's high-tech LED mask, these are the September beauty launches worth adding to cart.

Hawthorne - Desert Runway

Rich and creamy, sandalwood is a perfume ingredient perfectly suited to chillier weather. Hawthorne's take on the note is balanced with powdery, floral touches of orris, violet, and cucumber.

Dieux - Air Angel Gel Cream

Combination skin types, rejoice! Dieux's new moisturizer cocoons skin in a cloud of moisture while also mattifying oily areas. As is the case with all Dieux products, Air Angel plays nice with others and doesn't pill when paired with sunscreen and makeup.

Fueguia 1833 x Gabriela Hearst - New York

Fashion designer Gabriela Hearst teamed up with niche fragrance house Fueguia 1833 to pay homage to her roots, split between New York and Paysandú, Uruguay. The result is a duo of fragrances named after Hearst's two homes. Both are formidable creations, but the standout in our opinion is New York — a smoky mix of tobacco, palo santo, and rose that somehow smells like raspberries on ice.

Therabody - TheraFace Mask

If you're serious about your at-home beauty gadgets, you're going to want to look into the latest addition to Therabody's skin-focused tech line. The TheraFace Mask is an LED device that, when strapped to your head, might make you look something like Jason Voorhees — but using light therapy and percussive therapy, the gadget purports to tighten and lift the face, as well as improve the overall appearance of skin.

Hermès - Tutti Twilly

A fruity flanker to 2017's Twilly d'Hermès, Tutti Twilly exudes the energy of a fun-loving, younger sister. That said, it's by no means a juvenile perfume — lychee and ginger mingle with a peppery sourness best suited to a developed nose.
