Salomon, the French outdoor sports company founded in 1947, has as rich of a heritage as any of the top sportswear brands. In the outdoor sports equipment markets, however, it sets itself apart as an industry leader. Until recently, Salomon sneakers and equipment were used by those actually exploring the outdoors who chose the brand based on its uncompromising durability and market-leading technology.

In recent years, however, Salomon has also successfully penetrated the lifestyle market, thanks in part to its penchant for producing great colorways, as well as the fact that utility, hiking- and trail running-inspired sneakers are currently highly sought after.

For a while, you couldn’t go to any major fashion week without seeing someone wearing a pair of Salomons. The brand capitalized on the chunky sneaker trend expertly, picking the right businesses and designers to work with, which only elevated their status among the more fashion-conscious crowd. In a word, the brand didn’t compromise on its overall design and functionality, precisely the two things that got Salomon to where it is today.

To help you keep track of all of Salomon’s footwear offerings, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite Salomon sneakers. This includes in-house versions of the XT-4 ADV and XT-6 ADV, as well as collaborations with Boris Bidjan Saberi, The Broken Arm, and Satisfy.

Scroll through our selection below and treat yourself to some of the best and most stylish Salomon sneakers around.
