Bryan James Sledge better known as BJ the Chicago Kid has just released a short film for The Opening Ceremony, a short EP of three songs that is a follow-up of his 2016 debut album, In My Mind.

Captured by talented female director Child, the six-minute visual sees the artist roam around various places across the streets of Los Angeles, and touches on the themes of relationships, police brutality, and poverty.

Since the release of his 2016 three-time Grammy-nominated debut album In My Mind, BJ has collaborated with the likes of Solange, A$AP M.O.B., Anderson .Paak, Common and the late Marvin Gaye.

In addition, BJ is featured on Travis Scott‘s “Stop Trying To Be God” along with Stevie Wonder, James Blakes, and Kid Cudi on Scott’s recently released LP, Astroworld. Listen to it below.

In other new music videos, watch Smokepurpp and Lil Pump take over London for their latest single, “Nephew.”
