While many were hoping for a new theatrical project, former Breaking Bad co-stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul do have a new collaboration, but it may not be exactly what you were expecting. Cranston and Paul have taken to social media today to announce their venture, a mezcal brand called Dos Hombres.
"We had the time of our lives while shooting Breaking Bad and truly built a very special bond," Cranston said on Instagram. "Knowing that we couldn’t share the screen for quite a while - our thoughts turned to a new project."
Again, that project is Dos Hombres, and the first bottle is Espadin, named after the type of agave most commonly used for mezcal. Espadin possesses hints of apple, mango, Oaxacan fruits, wood, and smoke.
"We are crazy about the taste, the aroma, and the versatility of this smokey, age-old alcohol," Cranston and Paul proclaimed.
If you watched Cranston and Paul in Breaking Bad, chances are you caught glimpses of whiskey on numerous occasions. Walter White's drink of choice, for example, was Dimple Pinch scotch. The two obviously chose to go a different route with their alcohol brand, however, so if mezcal is more your speed, you can go ahead and order a bottle of Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul's Espadin for $58.
