With the summer heat kicking in, it's time to add some lightweight pieces to your rotation to keep you cool. And the piece topping our editors' list right now is the camp shirt. On this episode of Itemized, our bi-weekly show that aims to show you where to buy and how to style fashion’s biggest trends, Highsnobiety's Corey Stokes and Noah Thomas show you how to style the season's hottest shirt.

First, they break down what the camp shirt is and talk about some of the biggest designers who are championing the trend this season. Next, they head over to Macy's in New York City's Herald Square, the iconic store that opened in 1902, to hunt down a few camp shirt options.

Noah picks out a yellow piece with an eye-catching all-over print by INC. Made of rayon, the shirt features a breathable fabric that's perfect for the hotter months. The color contrast is also exactly what everyone's summer 'fits need right now. Next up, Corey checks out the Calvin Klein section at Macy's where he finds a contrast-collar camp shirt with a blue-and-white striped body. It's an option that also has a workwear vibe, which is cool if you're looking for something more casual. Noah also comes out rocking a Tasso Elba shirt in 100% linen – a key fabric for staying cool and dry in the summer – that also features an ombre print.

Back in the studio, Corey and Noah get the camp shirt on model Julien to show off a few head-to-toe looks featuring this episode's key piece. The first is a striped shirt from INC layered over a white hoodie from Original Penguin and paired with some dark denim by Levi's. The second look gets dressed up: Corey teams a light-blue floral motif Perry Ellis shirt over a white ribbed tank and some linen pants by INC. The last look incorporates the Calvin Klein camp shirt Corey found at Macy's and matches it with olive track pants by Columbia that gives it a military vibe.

Hit play above to get all the details on how to rock the camp shirt this season, and be sure to check back with us for new episodes of Itemized dropping bi-weekly.
