For a company like Casadei, anticipating what’s next is woven into the brand’s ethos and comes into full form as the brand preps to enter the web3 space during its Spring/Summer 23 collection. Partnered with Another-1, an innovative luxury fashion web3 platform, the Italian-born brand plans to debut an immersive “phygital” experience for users to uniquely interact with some of its most classic silhouettes.

In honor of the 10th anniversary of the iconic Blade heel, Casadei is launching Casadei 3.0 on the Decentraland virtual platform, a move that brings the renowned footwear brand into the popular conversation. Embedded in Casadei's identity is the desire to constantly evolve past what is thought to be possible, and with this latest project, a whole new world of opportunity arises. Literally.

Casadei, Casadei

After enlisting Another-1’s expertise in crossing realities, the two forward-thinking companies collaborated on Project Nayom1, a hybrid concept that merges the physical and digital worlds. Upon entering the innovative experience, users are launched into a retro-futuristic metropolis similar to the ones found in the Blade Runner movies, from which Casadei’s classic heel takes its name. As the user looks around, gazing at all the breathtaking imagery of skyscrapers and neon mega screens, they are greeted by a gigantic android offering a tour of the captivating space.

At the foot of the massive creature is a pair of imaginative Blade heels designed to work within a 100% virtual space, revealing the heart of Project Nayom1. The phygital offering between Casadei and Another-1 allows users to purchase one of 1000 authenticated NFTs that transfer into a real-life pair of limited edition Nayom1 Blade heels. Those who engage with this forward-thinking project will also be gifted a free personalized avatar available to use on the Decentraland platform.

The unique experience is part of Casadei’s Spring/Summer 23 collection that features the Blade heel along with other futuristic designs like the sleek and minimal Sue sandal and the shiny, sculpted Nina wedge.

This notable collaboration marks a turning point for both Casadei and Another-1 as each looks to change how we interact with fashion products. For Another-1, the platform can now expand its already extensive reach in the web3 fashion space while Casadei officially announces itself as a player within the metaverse.

Staying on top of trends and searching for the next way to innovate is exactly what Casadei is known for. By partnering with a significant player like Another-1, it's clear that the celebrated brand is just as eager as ever to continue to evolve.
