Swedish eyewear specialists, Chimi, and Seoul-based smokewear label, Sundae School, have aligned for a celebratory Mother's Day eyewear capsule aptly dubbed, "Tiger Mom."

Consisting of two different shapes in the form of retro-inspired oblong and angular frames, the silhouettes are rendered in colors of yellow and black, as well as a standout "tiger" print iteration.

In case you were wondering, the theme of "Tiger Mom" was derived from the popular 2011 book, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother by Amy Chua, and the Asian-inspired idea of executing a strict form of parenting stemming from love, in order to give their kids the best future by pushing them to work hard in order to achieve it.

With the entire range hand-crafted in a premium cellulose acetate, Chimi also utilized a CR39-lens that is impact-resistant and includes a 100% UV (400) protection. Both lenses and the acetate are produced by Italian supplier, Mazzuchelli.

You can find the entire "Tiger Mom" collection at Chimi's online store, Sundae School's online store, as well as select retailers worldwide starting Mother's Day, May 13.
