While it's no secret that Barack Obama was a Kendrick Lamar fan, the Compton rapper may soon have a new supporter in President Donald Trump. Well, probably not, but he will at least see him perform live.
According to CNN, the current U.S. president will reportedly make an appearance at the College Football Playoff National Championship between Alabama and Georgia on January 8 at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Kendrick is scheduled to perform at halftime.
Nothing has been officially confirmed just yet, but given Kendrick's previous references to the maligned president you might want to mark that date in your calendar.
In his 2017 single "The Heart Part 4," the artist disses the president in a number of lines as well as directly stating: "Donald Trump is a chump." Lamar’s new album DAMN. also features multiple Fox News samples. Stay tuned for more information.
