When it comes to refashioning old-school classics for the modern day, it's hard to think of anyone who does so better than nanamica. Previously, the Japanese retailer has worked closely with the likes of Woolrich John Rich & Bros, Champion and, most famously, THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL, with English footwear kings Dr. Martens now the latest heritage brand to join an ever-growing list of impressive collaborators.

For Fall '16, both join forces for a special capsule collection consisting of two classic silhouettes. Boasting the legendary Dr. Martens durability and comfort, the military-style, Sultan MIE Officer Shoe is built for practical wear and day-to-day work, while the slightly more formal, '80s throwback Lytton MIE Penny Loafer is all about flexin' at the discoteque. Both shoes feature luxurious, Timperely soft leather, and rest on the iconic air-cushioned sole. Subtle white stitching then finishes the look in a nod to Dr. Martens' iconic design.

The collection will be available online at the nanamica website from October 15, and selected global retailers from November 5.
