Following the announcement of his plan to devise an underground tunnel to help cut down on traffic, Elon Musk released a special Boring Company hat to raise money for the project. Now, the entrepreneur has announced that he has sold more than 30,000 hats, doubling sales dating back weeks prior.

Again, proceeds from the hats will be funneled into The Boring Company to aid in finding cost-efficient solutions for his lofty tunnel experiment. Musk also notes that when sales of the hats exceed 50,000 units, he'll release The Boring Company flamethrower. We suspect he'll be there in no time.

To aid in the efforts, you can cop a Boring Company hat today.

Just weeks ago, Musk won a $50 million USD bet for building the world's largest lithium-ion battery.
