Elon Musk recently unveiled the impressive Tesla Roadster which can go 0-60 mph in just 1.9 seconds and boasts a top speed of 250 mph, but the billionaire already has his sights set on the next upgrade — and it's a big one.

Taking to Twitter, Musk teased that the next Roadster might be able to fly. He wrote that what we've seen so far is just the "base model performance" and that there's an extra package that will "take it to the next level."

“Not saying the next-gen Roadster special upgrade package *will* definitely enable it to fly short hops, but maybe…certainly possible," the Billionaire teased. With Musk's connections to both Tesla and SpaceX, if anyone is going to make the flying car a reality, our money is on him.

Now, take a look at what 0-60 looks like in Tesla’s insanely fast Roadster.
