It seems that Gorillaz have been back in the studio with none other than Snoop Dogg. At a concert in Chile, bandleader Damon Albarn premiered a song featuring Snoop titled “Hollywood”, though unfortunately the rapper wasn’t present for the performance. Watch fan footage of the track’s debut below.

But that’s not all; Albarn introduced the song by teasing that a new album is on the way. “If you go and tell anyone that we’re putting a new album out very soon, then I’ll deny it because I didn’t say that, alright?” he told the audience.

Gorillaz’ last album was 2017’s Humanz, a record that featured collaborations with everyone from Vince Staples to Kelela to Danny Brown. Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg recently released an album of his own, the gospel-tinged Bible of Love.

We named Gorillaz’ “Andromeda” one of the best songs of 2017. Revisit it below.

In other music news, Future and Nas have teamed up for DJ Esco’s new track “Walk Thru”. Listen to it right here.
