Gucci’s Cruise 2020 show just wrapped up in Rome, and the Italian fashion house debuted a new pair of statement kicks.
Featuring a strap across the forefoot, the luxe-sports sneakers take inspiration from retro performance designs, then lofting those cues into a high-end sneaker. Color blocked with hits of turquoise, pink, and grey, the upper of the mid-top boasts mixed materials like mesh and supple suede, while Gucci branding is featured throughout, in the form of the brand’s interlocked-G logo, as well as Gucci text on the midsole and tongue. The design bears a slight resemblance to vintage Nikes like the Air Trainer series popularized by Bo Jackson in the early ’90s.
Thus far, information and pricing and availably has not been communicated, but stay posted for more information as it arrives.
