Helmut Lang has partnered with artist Sarah Morris for a special limited edition collaboration, featuring 25 pairs of cowboy boots hand-painted, dipped, and stamped by Morris. The project pays tribute to Helmet Lang’s Spring 1994 runway show, which was highlighted by hand-painted cowboy boots.
According to Morris, the boots “appear readymade, but are dipped and stamped in my colors.”
The traditional cowboy boots arrive in conjunction with the relaunch of Helmut Lang Jeans, also taking place this month.
In other news, Barbara Kruger‘s ‘Untitled (Questions)’ mural from 1990 has returned to the MOCA.
