Editor’s Notes: House Of the Very Islands was founded in 2006 by four designers rooted in a network of artists, musicians and film-makers in Vienna. The FW19 collection 'Kaptial', is inspired by Austrian artist Ashley Hans Scheirl which combined body parts and taboo objects to critique the desires and delusions of our materialistic society, as demonstrated by the statement sweater with "Klassenkampf" or "war class" (slide #3) printed on the front.
