When INNERSECT kicks off in Shanghai this January, it's bringing cultural pioneers from around the world along with it. As East Asia's leading street culture event, the three-day-long fair is praised for connecting global thought leaders from the worlds of fashion, art, music, and tech with each other, and with their fans.

For the January 2022 edition, INNERSECT has linked with Fear of God's Jerry Lorenzo, tapping the creative as their first-ever co-curator. In turn, Lorenzo has reached out to a select number of talents from his personal contacts, all of whom will head to the fair to respond to the theme of "Balance."

Of course, such news equals a lot of hype; a vibe we doubled down on when getting an exclusive look at the brands and products that will be part of the next event. And we figured we'd share that exclusive peek with you, with a little help from the guys over at CULTED who have selected their top ten must-cop pieces from the upcoming INNERSECT along with explanations why.

Find CULTED's selection below.

If you generally dress quite conservatively, accessorising is crucial, because that’s where you can play with the fine details. These sleek but bold, all-black shades are a perfect accessory example. Just zoom into the frame edges.

These Norda G+ Kicks

Most of us tend to go for a light sole/base when it comes to footwear. But the dark base on these, contrasting with the light bone print? *Chef’s kiss*

*Into art, buys limited sneakers, wears Arc’teryx, follows Takashi Murakami, and has a BE@RBRICK at home*, if you’re going to be that guy, this is the BE@RBRICK to have.

Warmth via GR10K

It’s sweater (vest) weather and what better way to usher in the new year than in a cosy gradient knit, just like this one? We’ll take two please.

Yeah, this is the second pair of sunglasses we’ve selected. Our mantra is that you can never have too many sunglasses and after all, ‘tis the season to treat yourself.

LUAR's Iconic Ana Bag

We’re always in search of the perfect bag for a night out - this one just might be it. In the deep brown colourway from Luar, this option is a great size: not mini Le Chiquito levels of small but not too big to distract from your look. The goldilocks of bags, if you will.

We’ve always wanted to know what a cloud smells like. This candle is here to answer our question. If it smells as good as it looks, we’ll take it.

Gorping with AFFXWRKS

This is a staple we can get behind: nice and casual, with the added bonus of featuring a half zip, nice detailing, and gorp-core tech. A jacket that does it all.

Another GR10K Classic

Minimal but practical, these trousers feature a flip-over pocket and a subtle zip pocket. Utilitarian design goes a long way when you dress for comfort and practicality.

Salomon Advanced QT-Quest Sneakers

Do we have 63 pairs of white sneakers each? Yes. Will we continue to buy more white sneakers? Yes. This is one, we all wouldn’t mind adding to our rotation.

INNERSECT takes place in Shanghai January 15-17. Discover more here.
