Editor’s Notes: New Balance has officially introduced Jaden Smith's first sneaker, the Vision Racer. The silhouette merges classic New Balance design with Smith's contemporary aesthetic, all while being vegan-friendly.

“Shared values of transforming the status quo; staying true to oneself; giving back to community; and, respecting heritage while co-authoring a distinct future, are the foundation of the relationship between New Balance and Jaden Smith,” said Chris Davis, New Balance Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Merchandising.

The Vision Racer takes design cues Jaden's favorite New Balance models in the X-Racer and 1700. The vegan-friendly sneaker is constructed from partially-recycled materials, helping push the boundaries for sustainably-led footwear at New Balance.
