Jil Sander‘s new Summer Project capsule collection is meant to feel personal yet refined. Coming from creative directors Lucie and Luke Meier, the project is inspired by their own summertime experiences.
The Summer Project collection largely makes use of natural materials that adjust to the body while providing function and comfort. We see long dresses and shirts in soft cotton, a parachute silk and nylon canvas jumpsuit, a pack-away shirt dress, and an organic cotton poplin kaftan. The capsule also includes accessories to complement the clothing, ranging from medium and large sombrero bags, to oversized flat shopper bags in natural canvas, a custom Jil Sander+ jacquard beach towel, sculptural sun hats, and unisex leather sandals.
With items showcased in chalk white, parchment, silvery-grey, and sandy brown, Jil Sander’s Summer Project releases in select Jil Sander stores and retailers worldwide today, July 8.
On this episode of The Dropcast, we are joined by by Jabari “Jacuzzi” Khaled, founder of Basketball Skateboards and under-the-radar creative who’s worked with your favorite designer’s favorite designers.
