Kanye West would be okay with Nike retro-ing his Air Yeezy line. That’s according to the man himself, who told GQ: “Man I’m with everything” when asked about it a profile for the May cover story of the magazine.

When asked to clarify what he meant, ’Ye responded: “Man, anything that the kids want and the people want. People should be able to have what they want.”

Kanye’s Air Yeezy line comprised two models, the Air Yeezy 1 and the Air Yeezy 2, and are some of his most valuable sneaker collaborations to date. The partnership with Nike ended abruptly over creative differences and resulted in West moving to arch rivals adidas in 2014. Kanye and adidas dropped their first collaborative YEEZY sneaker in 2015.

Since then, much has been written about West’s relationship with Nike, which has been hot and cold and alternated between apologies and thanking Mark Parker for giving him a chance, to taking shots at the company on The Life of Pablo’s “Facts.”

His latest comments, though, seem to suggest Kanye is at peace with his Nike past and only focused on the future of YEEZY. While it’s unclear and unlikely whether Nike would event want to retro Kanye’s Air Yeezy line, they certainly have the man’s blessing.
