We were treated to a bit of sad news in November (no, not that one) when we heard that Kendrick Lamar and Reebok's collaboration on the brand's Classic sneaker would be drawing to a close. But fortunately the superstar and the sportswear giant haven't finished with each other entirely, as news has just dropped of their first-ever design of the Club C sneaker.
When speaking of his inspiration behind the sneaker, Lamar said: “Now more than ever is it important for individuals to come together as one. This sneaker represents that call for unity and equality, while also pushing people to look beneath the surface and uncover the hidden messages."
Stylistically, the shoe features acid-washed denim detailing, a red label and heel, and a very subtle emblem of "K" and "O" to signify Kendrick's nickname "Kdot."
Look out for the shoe to drop on January 13 at all Reebok locations for $109.99.
In related news, Kendrick Lamar has just been officially announced as one of the headliners at this year's Coachella festival. Get the scoop right here.
