After recently joining global lifestyle brand Nautica as a creative designer, Lil Yachty has been chosen to be the subject of a new MTV digital cover story. During his sit-down with the publication, the buzzing young artist took the opportunity to reveal the title of his new album. After much speculation, the 19-year-old's debut will be dubbed Teenage Emotions.

For now, we have no release date for the project, but don't expect Yachty to shy away from what he's consistently been giving to his admittedly younger fan base.

In addressing those — namely older hip-hop heads — who insist he's bad for the genre, Yachty had this to say: “People say I’m destroying hip-hop, and I’m like, there’s so much hip-hop, and it’s so popular, so I don’t know why I have the power to destroy it.”

“My fans are so loyal and dedicated that I don’t care that much about winning people over, but I know it’s gonna change and people will eventually give my shit a chance, bro,” he then went on to add. “That’s why I’m working so hard on this album, not to please other people but I’m just really trying, bro, to show people that like, I’m not just f*cking bad!”

Stay tuned for more on Teenage Emotions, and be sure to check out Lil Yachty's latest music video for "Shoot Out The Roof" underneath.
