Key Pieces: The standouts from maharishi’s latest SS19 release are the leopard/camouflage print garments, ranging from chore jackets and work pants to deck shorts.
Release Date: Available now
Editor’s Notes: Following the recent release of the “Shattered Visions” collection, maharishi returns with yet another capsule for SS19. The label once again looks to 17th century mystic, artist, and visionary poet William Blake for inspiration, specifically his series of texts dubbed The Marriage of Heaven and Hell, which explore themes of duality.
This new warm weather assortment from maharishi largely consists of lightweight and breathable fabrics alongside staple organic cottons and hemp jersey. We find relaxed silhouettes adorned with artworks inspired by Blake, hand-machine embroideries, and up-cycled military surplus. Numerous garments from the collection showcase a leopard/camouflage hybrid print, as noted in the “Key Pieces” above.
