Maroon 5 Link up With SZA On “What Lovers Do”

Maroon 5 have enlisted R&B singer-songwriter SZA for their latest single “What Lovers Do.” After teasing the song earlier this week with a sultry pic and a #whatloversdo hashtag, the band dropped the saccharine pop track late Tuesday night.

On “What Lovers Do,” Adam Levine asks “Are we too grown for games?” and SZA of course delivers on the vocal front. Maroon 5’s latest follows their collab with fellow TDE affiliate Kendrick Lamar, as well as “Cold” with Future earlier this year. Last week, Levine gave a behind-the-scenes look at what appears to be an accompanying music video for the song.

SZA released her debut album Ctrl back in June, and subsequently announced a U.S. tour, which she’ll be on through December. Revisit her video for “Drew Barrymore” below.
