It's been a while since we've gotten some new Martine Rose x Nike heat. But the wait may soon be over based on the latest whispers swirling around the internet.

According to sneaker leakers, Martine Rose and Nike have cooked up all-new colorways of their Shox MR4 Mule collaboration in "Fire Red" and Varsity Red." There aren't any official images of the new Shox Mules just yet, but some speculative mockups showcase the familiar (and still wildly formal) design in literal red-hot makeup.

Martine Rose's Nike Shox MR4 Mules debuted in 2022, instantly cementing itself as one of the year's best and craziest sneaker drops (it was crazy-good even). As a refresher, the collaborative sneaker-mule is a dressy version of Nike's Shox R4 designed with square toes and an easy-on vibe. Oh, and the bouncy Shox columns got a lift, transforming into the shoes into heels basically.

Martine Rose and Nike even went for a second round of Shox Mules in 2023, dropping the hybrid shoes in two new extra bold colorways alongside an equally good clothing capsule of formal sportswear.

Since then, more subtle confirmations of the two's ongoing partnership have been made. Specifically, Martine Rose's most recent presentations have featured general-release Nike sneakers. The soccer-worthy Air Max Tiempo sneaker starred in the brand's SS25 runway show. Then, the eponymous label's FW25 lookbook included the returning Total 90 III sneakers.

It's about time for another official Martine Rose x Nike moment.

The new Martine Rose x Nike Shox MR4 Mule shoes are anticipated to drop during the fall season.

If true, it'll really be Martine Rose x Nike season again.
