Meanswhile implements the ethos of “form follows function” across its Fall/Winter 2015 collection of tech inspired styles. We first picked up on the Japanese label during our trip to Liberty Fairs earlier this year where we got a teaser of their utilitarian goods. Pushing the look even further, nylon parkas, padded anoraks, velvet patch pocket gilets and wool jackets set the tone for this season; an impressive range of contemporary creations featuring performance wear detailing.

For Fall, a padded, pocket-heavy nylon apron takes center stage, decorated with zips and tabs more commonly found in ski jackets and cold-weather outerwear. A combination of luxe, heritage and sportswear, this latest collection sticks to understated shades of either navy and tan, turning bold designs into wearable, everyday layers. Keep an eye out for the launch of this collection on the Meanswhile webshop.
