Although Netflix doesn't release viewership numbers, HighSpeedInternet has still been able to gauge the best performing television programs on the platform.

While in the past they explored the most popular TV shows by state, this time they look to settle what has surely been a debate in many a bar around the world: what's the most popular Netflix show in the entire world?

The answer? BBC's Sherlock.

According to their methodology, "using Google Trends data, our team ranked countries by their number of Netflix-related searches and cross-referenced their ranks with their most-searched show."

While Sherlock took home the top spot, Friends ranked second, Netflix originals Narcos and House of Cards ranked third and fourth, and New Girl rounded out the top five.
