It appears that Nike is looking to cash in on the sock sneaker trend with the introduction of the Airquent. The Airquent is not only highlighted by its sock-like bootie design, but it also boasts the Air More Uptempo’s signature lettering around its upper.

Thanks to Instagram user @pinoe77, we get a glimpse at what to expect from Nike's all-new silhouette. Sole Collector then points out that the shoe's Max Air unit and translucent foam forefoot take cues from Air VaporMax cushioning.

The Airquent is also said to be a women's model, expected to launch in October of this year. Retail is rumored to be $150 USD.
