Nike's Ava Rover sneaker has gone platinum. Well, it's dressing like it, at least.

The newest pairs arrive in a crisp "Pure Platinum" colorway, offering a primarily light grey slate, topped with a classic black Swoosh and pull tab on the heel.

There's also a surprise splash of bright orange on the insoles. But even with the vibrant footbeds, it doesn't detract from the clean design.

Nike's Ava Rover sneaker has the look of a classic high-tech running shoe. It's built like one, too.

It features signature run-ready ingredients such as a chunky ReactX midsole, often found on other Nike performance shoes, as well as the brand's internet-famous recovery shoes.

The Ava Rover colorways are also quite good, with Nike essentially making the model ready for just about anything, including casual flexing at the grocery store.

Nike's Ava Rover is now set to arrive in this nice "Pure Platinum" color scheme, expanding the model's already-impressive collection.

It's unknown when this particular pair will drop on Nike's website. But given that official images are already out, we could catch the "platinum" versions very soon.
