Another day, another Nike skate shoe that looks almost too good for board tricks.

Nike's Charge skate sneaker got a seriously clean "Triple Black" makeover, with Nike completely blacking-out its slim Vans-ish model. But hold your laces because that's even the best part.

The Charge ditched its regular canvas uppers in exchange for smooth velvety suede. Finally, Nike tops its skate shoe off with crisp leather Swooshes on each side, resulting in this effortlessly tonal, quietly textural look. Not too bad for a skate shoe.

The Charge is usually a part of Nike SB's offerings (there are some SB Charges right now on Nike's website as we speak). Interestingly, though, the latest suede version is free of SB branding and only features the standard Nike logos. And it ain't the only one.

Earlier this year, Nike's Fokus skate shoe — which looks like a dressy golf shoe, really — surfaced without its usual Nike SB stamps.

Nike also has those Air Force 1 SK8 sneakers coming out, which is surprisingly not an SB collaboration (even though Nike SB Forces do exist). Instead, the sportswear brand made supposed skate-ready Forces on its own.

The skate shoes are still, well, skate shoes, as far as we know. For instance, the Charge still has its slim shape and flat soles, which kind of remind you of Vans' Authentic skate shoes (but make it Nike style). Additionally, the shoe typically comes with a dual-density sole and overall broken-in-like construction, qualities that makes it the perfect everyday skate shoe.

Skate shoe or normal skate-ish shoe, it's certainly an interesting move on Nike's part. But it's just more to enjoy for lovers of these classic skate models.

By the way, those suede Nike Charges? They're expected to drop on February 24 at Nike and select stores.
