Double Tap to Zoom

Nike's all-leather Zoom Vomero 5 sneaker may be officially named "Pony." But really, this buttery brown dad shoe is a full-blown stallion.

Translation? It looks pretty good.

With the latest version, the Vomero steps away from its usual Y2K outfits and slips into a delicious leather jacket for the new year. Better yet, it's going full "Pony" for the Year of the Horse.

The creamy results are similar to those of the previous "Dark Pony" Shox R4 sneaker, which is essentially the wildly techy sneaker gone dress shoe mode.

Nike's Vomero model looks just fine in its traditional meshy designs, but it's always nice to see the brand switch up its materials now and then. We often get impressive options from these updates, like those Japan-made pairs from 2024.

Add these new all-leather versions to the list, too.

For those wondering, the leather Vomero 5 "Pony" sneaker rides in soon. It's scheduled to drop on Nike Australia's website on January 9 for 220.00 AUD, or around $147.
