Nintendo just gets it. It knows that we're suckers for nostalgia, and it knows how to sell it to us. Pokémon GO is the first-ever video game to truly go viral, and now it's going to build on the hype with a revamped release of another wistful classic: the NES.

The NES was possibly the most influential home video game console of all time, and now we can all play on it thanks to this smaller and supposedly better new version. It comes with a NES controller and a number of titles preloaded, including Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy and Metroid. The mix also includes some surprising choices such as StarTropics, but it's a well-rounded sampling that will please old-school fans and newcomers alike.

The full list includes:

Balloon Fight Bubble Bobble Castlevania Castlevania II: Simon's Quest Donkey Kong Donkey Kong Jr. Double Dragon II: The Revenge Dr. Mario Excitebike Final Fantasy Galaga Ghosts' N Ghoblins Gradius Ice Climber Kid Icarus Kirby's Adventure Mario Bros. Mega Man 2 Metroid Ninja Gaiden Pac-Man Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream StarTropics SUPER C Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros. 2 Super Mario Bros. 3 Tecmo Bowl The Legend of Zelda Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

The system is set to be released on November 11 for $59.99 across North America and the UK.

Never one to miss a trick, Nintendo also teamed up with Vans for this retro sneaker collection.
