Comprised of designers, composers, sculptors and poets, this community of creatives has been known to help support the local subcultures of fashion, music and architecture behind the scenes. With their inaugural drop “Y.E.S.Y.E.S.” consisting as the physical embodiment of the group’s conceptual discussions, the range draws inspiration from various references like Dadaism and Proto-Punk to XCLAN and the current state of the union.
Presented in a lookbook influenced by Belgian surrealist artist Rene Magritte and specifically The Lovers paintings in an effort to create the illusion of a gallery experience, the drop is comprised of pigment dyed graphic tee shirts featuring Duchamp’s wikipedia entry as a commentary on the concept of public domain and a messenger bag reimagined as a secondhand sweater.
