Season: FW19

Key Pieces: Of the sneakers featured above, the ODSY-1000 leaps out as it’s a completely original silhouette and one that encompasses a number of current footwear trends.

The silhouette adheres to current hiking-inspired sneaker styles, boasting an eye-catching chunky sole and industrial belt heel tab. The partially translucent upper, paired with a bright orange lacing system, reminds us of Virgil Abloh’s Nike collaborations, specifically the Nike Zoom Fly.

Release Date: TBC

Editor’s Notes: Shortly after Virgil Abloh previewed the ODSY-1000 sneaker on Instagram, Highsnobiety was invited backstage to the designer’s OFF-WHITE FW19 runway show.

In addition to the ODSY-1000, which combines a number of current footwear trends including a translucent upper and hiking-inspired outsole tread, we also spotted a tasseled snakeskin loafer. While the formal shoe’s design remains largely traditional, Abloh swaps out the leather heel platform for what looks like a colored rubber block.

Another formal option was a snakeskin Chelsea boot with leather sole and OFF-WHITE branding on the elastic side panel. The branding stands in stark contrast to an already eye-catching shoe, giving off strong space cowboy vibes.

The last of the four styles was a gray ’70s-style runner with suede overlays and large OFF-WHITE arrow sewn on the side. The arrow branding is similar to OFF-WHITE’s Arrow sneaker, which was teased on Instagram recently.

The styles are likely to be released as part of OFF-WHITE’s FW19 collection, so stay tuned for further release information.
