Ferruccio Laviani's latest installation, titled "Reality or Illusion," inside Foscarini's Spazio Soho showroom, examines the relationship between scale and proportion. He envisioned the space with geometric floor, wall and ceiling patterns, and a color palette that takes a page from Alice in Wonderland.

Cast-iron pillars form a row down the center of the space, neighbored by large-sized lamps and pendants hung at various heights that help to convey a colorful optical illusion.

The installation will be on display until the end of July.
